Colombia Defeated Canada With goal by James Rodriguez

A deep embrace between all players in the selection of Colombia with José Pekerman was the certification that the party would be a tribute to him and his mother, Raquel Krimen, who died Monday in Buenos Aires. When James Rodriguez scored a goal against Canada, they ran to the bank and espoused to Joseph, who was moved and shed a few tears. Canada was a more demanding than El Salvador rival.

A team organized at the back which provided few opportunities to Colombia and demanded full attackers. From the beginning, led by Pekerman demonstrated hierarchy and put his bow to the Americans, even after an extraordinary collective play that the goal of Radamel Falcao, but was overturned by an out-existent, the national assembly showed its power. When and despair gripped Colombians, because you could not see how to crack the Canadian arch, James Rodriguez scored a real goal after a foul against the 10th, Juan Fernando Quintero took a risk and first James finished from outside the area and ball was struck the right post into the back of the net.

The celebration was all for Pekerman, who all the players were embracing to show their support for the hard times that.

  1. Pekerman has been the promoter of a great moment for the team, hopefully the players are still great athletes and continue to cultivate humility.
