Yuri Alvear, for the third time world champion in judo

                                          

Colombian judoka Yury Alvear retained the title of world champion who won last year in Rio de Janeiro, after winning Friday in the final of the 70 kilos to Japanese Ira Karen Nun in the world that are made in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. (See: Yuri Alvear wins) 
Alvear first won the world title in the event which was held in Rotterdam (Netherlands) in 2009 and last year won the German Laura Vargas Koch in Brazil.
Alvear semifinals won the favorite and leader of the ladder, the Dutch Kim Polling, leader of the world rankings, and who had until Friday to win all his fights of the year.
Even so rapid was the passage of the Colombia, last Pan American champion, in the end, the faster was the pursuit of gold because Alvear just needed a minute and one second to win by the same score in the final Japanese Nun Karen Ira.

Nairo and Movistar team won the first stage of the Tour of Spain

Nairo Quintana and return to Spain.

Colombian cyclist Nairo Quintana's Movistar team, said Monday he is hoping to win the Tour of Spain to believe that it is "impossible" to win in the same year in two races three weeks at the Giro d'Italia or the Tour of France. 
Reigning Giro who returned to Colombia a few days ago, said Monday at a press conference in Bogota that has been training with a view to the Tour which he said he has "wanted to win", though cautious as always said that anyway there are other cyclists also seek victory.

Mariana Pajón that Colombia will seek the olympic in rio 2016

                   

Colombian Mariana Pajon, BMX world champion, said Friday in Bogota that focus all their efforts to achieve the most wins and get points to lead the Brazil Olympic team of five athletes.
The 'Atomic Ant' as it is known in the world of bicicrós, hoped that their efforts and those of other students achieve the necessary points sum to compete in Rio de Janeiro with three men and two women.
Pajon time added that will compete this weekend in the Bogotá Summer Festival, which awards points for the classification of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
